Another World

Ever had a dream that made you feel like your day is going to suck? Or atleast just makes you feel bad?

It's not a nightmare, but rather something that happens that's unsettling and you wonder why you dreamt it. What meaning does it have?

Relaxin'

The last few days have been pretty good.

Lined up at FutureShop with Justin and got a Canon SD500 Digital ELPH, had a two day LAN at Mike's which was fun, fun, fun. I knew I would play video games like crazy when on holidays, it's a given. Then today I went to Jen Gibson's party now that she's back from Europe. Saw a lot of people I didn't know and a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time. Definitely fun because everyone was having a good time.

I joined another one of those online friend network things, Facebook, since so many people have been bugging me about it forever. I don't see what the big deal is but it's got some neat things that other friend networks don't.

Random Peeve

So this randomly crossed my mind. People always find it funny/stupid to use MSN to say something to someone when they're under/in the same roof/building.

What the fuck is wrong with that? Seriously it's just a form of communication and if it happens to be easier to type "Let's go get pizza in half an hour." over MSN, why the hell not?

Everyone always tries to make things easier, it's like saying, "Man, it's fucking dumb people use cars when we were born with legs, like Jesus, that's just dumb."

The moral of this rant:
Stop being so retarded.

Constructive criticism welcomed, others will be deleted.

Best Christmas Evarrrr

WTFing Shit: Part II

So Organic I guess wasn't too too bad. But we'll see when the marks come in. Let's all hope for a pass, or if you're really up to it, hope for a decent mark.

We got to keep our final exam booklet, which was a real shocker. 15 pages of fun. Anyway, three more exams to go and then it's home time.

First up is a tie between getting a hair cut, and playing lots and lots of video games. But, my mom is home! So I actually get to see her this Christmas (and get a haircut lol).

It'll be good. I can't wait to shower without sandals, walk around bare footed throughout the house, live with consistent temperatures indoors, not cook my own food, not wipe my own ass (lol jk).

Oh boy, it'll be great to go home.

I think I've come to the realization that I only won't want to go home if I have a nice place to live here. Home in Waterloo just isn't home. Then again, home in Calgary means no school so that's probably why it's so much greater...

Yeah, yeah, family and friends too. lol

Home in ~3 days.

WTFing Shit: Part I

So Organic Chemistry, good ol' CHEM 266. I went through the class not knowing wtf is going on. Classes end and I start studying, I get a tiny grasp on things, nothing major. I study some more with the prof's "Chemical Reactions Review" sheet, things start to look good. I can actually recall what happens with certain situations. I open the book to do some questions and slowly they start getting more and more confusing. I try out the 2003 final exam and it starts off nice.

And then shit hits the oscillating fan. There's shit everywhere.

I have no idea what's going on anymore. It's less than 9 hours until the exam, minus the 30 minutes I'll leave ahead of time to get to campus with time to spare... oh and sleep. Sure I could go all night without it but if I knew more than half the course then maybe it might help, but not in this case. Oh well, we'll see how it goes. I suppose now I just have to decide whether or not to go to bed or keep plugging away at this nonsense...

(oh, and I get to do CHEM 267 next term too! Yayyyy, more organic chem!)

Dear Santa

A funny thought just crossed my mind while studying.

Do you need a stamp to "send a letter to Santa" through Canada Post?

If anyone knows, let me know!

Thanks

Update: Looks like you don't need a stamp to send a letter to Santa, just make sure you have a return address!
Thanks Heather! :D

Studyfest

Once again, it's exam time and all I have to do is study. Study, study, study. You know, I tell myself every term that "Next term I'm going to keep on track of my studies and not fall behind."

Sure, then I wouldn't be trying to cram everything in my head around exam time like I am now.

Well, here it is again. Next term I'm going to study consistently and like I always say, "It's going to be different, I'll do it!". Let's see if it does and let's see if it helps my marks.
